Lutley Wedge 23/09/11 07.15am (9°c) Cloudy (SW) F3

A surge of Meadow Pipits today with a constant passage of small flocks from first light finally tailing off late morning. At least (561) flew through to the S/SW in 3.5 hours this morning, the 2nd highest ever day count at Lutley Wedge since (620) on 16/9/10. Also the first Golden Plover this autumn flew over at 08.18am heading SW.
